My name is Tuan Dung Lai. I came to Australia from Vietnam as an international student. After completing my Bachelor degree in Computer Science, I began my PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Deakin University at the age of 21. At 26, I finished it and become a Lecturer at Swinburne University.
Since 2017, I have been casually teaching programming and mathematics at Swinburne, Deakin, and Monash Universities in Australia.
With years of experience teaching more than 10 core units across 3 universities, I have a deep understanding of the curriculum and become familiar with the challenges faced by students who are learning programming for the first time.
From 2018 to 2020, I worked as a research engineer at the A²I² - Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute in Melbourne, Australia, and later became a PhD candidate under their supervision.
